Many of the necklaces were multi-stranded, and required twisting (because that's how they are worn). This can be tricky for photography because the twist must allow the larger "primary" stones to be clearly visible, but it must also prevent large gaps between the strands.

Lighting also presents a challenge due to the mix of highly reflective stones, along with many translucent stones.
